Geography lesson in the field

On September 13, 2023, we hosted a group of teachers from Lower Silesian schools as part of cooperation with the Lower Silesian Teacher Training Center in Wrocław.

The topics of our classes, entitled “Geography lesson in the field”, included:

• Popularization of the University of Wrocław – Department of Climatology and Environmental Protection and the LIFE-MAPPINGAIR/PL Project.
• Getting to know the methods of meteorological and air quality measurements and how to interpret the results.
• Discussing the possibilities of conducting field classes in the area of atmospheric protection.
• Learning about methods of talking to students about SMOG.
